Reporting to the Vice President and Head of Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety Services, the Director Drug Safety, Europe will play a key role in the continued growth, direction, leadership and vision of an evolving and developing Drug Safety group.

You will be responsible as the Director, Drug Safety for ensuring that the operational delivery of all projects are executed on time, within budget and to the highest possible quality standards, in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements. You will manage a growing team, allocating resources to ensure the ideal expertise is contributing to the right project, with the right support to ensure success.

You will work closely with your peers in The America’s and Asia Pacific to deliver global Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety Services of the highest quality.

Your role will require outstanding internal and external communication skills, leadership and a “hands-on” approach, ensuring that the right resources, systems and processes are identified, implemented and followed to ensure project success. You will enjoy a stimulating balance between strategic and operational responsibility with a strong commercial focus and significant client facing responsibility.

Responsibility will include formulating long term objectives, plans and programs within Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety Services, managing a team that has enjoyed significant growth over the last 18 months and which is expected to continue.
